Summer Series at the Carillion- Kaskaskia College Choir- Lynda Marshall Conductor
Come see and hear the distinctive sites and sounds of the Centralia Carillon towering 165 feet high above the city. Featured artists for this concert will be Kaskaskis College Choir with Lynda Marshall conductor.
A free climb of the tower will be available after every ARTIST CONCERT. For full details regarding the Summer Concert Series and performers visit centraliacarillon.org.
The Centralia Carillon, the sixth-largest bell tower in the world, is played by a professional carillonneur who climbs 173 steps to play the bells in concert. The base of the tower contains a small museum, and tours of the Carillon are available free to the public by making a reservation.
Sit back and enjoy the park setting while listening to the concert. Perch on the brick wall, bring your lawn chair, or spread a blanket and breathe in the surroundings.
