4th of July Veteran’s Parade
4th of July Veteran’s parade is a celebration of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation. This 10 am parade consists of vehicles and pedestrian traffic and includes veterans, service members, families of service members, veteran military support organizations and/or individuals wishing to display their support.
This patriotic parade begins at West Broadway and South Chestnut Streets and heads west on Broadway, ending at Fairview Park. Follow the end of the parade and you will be at Fairview Park, this is about 0.74 miles. Enjoy an awards ceremony, recognition and celebration activities in the Park. Festivities at Fairview Park include a three-day carnival, food vendors, and a fireworks display later that day at dusk.
